about little rob's

we started with a little idea

Once upon a time, Rob and his dad were talking about what Rob could do for work after college. “Hey, you could sell christmas trees.” Why not, thought Rob, and with that was on his way to a lengthy, if not exactly lucrative, career in seasonal produce. Soon enough, December passed, Rob had provided a couple hundred Atlanta families with yuletide cheer, and the next step was obvious: a couple weeks’ vacation in order to go rock climbing. Nine months later, autumn was well under way, Rob had spent many a day under blue western skies climbing in Utah and Yosemite and Texas and everywhere in between, and it was time to go to work again. That was in 1993.

In the years since, Rob met Kendra on an Outward Bound staff training in Ecuador and they'll be running the lot together this year.  Today we continue, as always, to provide beautiful, high-quality, conventionally-grown trees. little rob’s christmas trees remains a family outfit, from Rob and Kendra to the many loyal Atlanta customers whose little rug-rats are now figuring out their own post-college plans.

Several generations of itinerant climbers continue to fund their vertical dreams with a stint slinging trees on the little rob’s lot. Sometimes, we count ourselves among them.
